WIP: Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf.B; Tamiya1/35

Ready to paint this little gem from TAMIYA（タミヤ）, to which I have made some improvements, some of which were really unnecessary.
I have added some resin-printed parts such as tool fasteners, hooks, etc. The hooks are fine because they have small holes, but the tool fasteners are very fragile and brittle and have been a bit of a pain, as I have had to replace them piece by piece and I think they would have been better in FG. The chains are also printed in E.T. resin. They assemble well, but you have to be careful because of the small size of the links, some of which were damaged during assembly and ended up being just right, another one broken and ‘not reaching’. Link by link always looks better, but really Tamiya’s section option is more than enough and you can save yourself the trouble if you decide to build the kit.
The machine guns are very good. I was going to replace them, but there’s no need as they are practically perfect. As usual with Tamiya, the moulding and fit are perfect.

Lista para pintar esta pequeña joya de TAMIYA（タミヤ）, a la que le he hecho algunas mejoras, que realmente algunas no hubieran hecho falta.
Le he implementado algunas piezas impresas en resina como los cierres de herramientas, ganchos, etc., los ganchos están bien porque incorporan los pequeños orificios, pero los cierres de herramientas son muy frágiles y quebradizos y han sido una pequeña tortura, pues he tenido que ir reponiendo a trozos y creo que hubieran quedado mejor de FG, las cadenas son también impresas en resinas de E.T. Model, se montan bien, pero hay que ir con cuidado debido al pequeño tamaño de los eslabones que también algunos se han estropeado durante el montaje y al final han quedado justos, otro más roto y «no llego», siempre quedan mejor eslabón a eslabón, pero realmente la opción de Tamiya a tramos es más que suficiente y os lo podéis ahorrar si decidís contruir el kit.
Muy bien las ametralladoras, iba a sustituirlas pero no hace falta vienen prácticamente perfectas. Como es habitual en Tamiya moldeado y encaje perfectos.
Sin más rollos las fotos y ya lo estoy pintando…

After the KV-1 Gallery, here are some photos of the assembled model prior to painting. You can see that there are several accessories that are not included in the photos of the painted model, but as I mentioned, my original idea was different, and I’m not sure if I’ll finish it or not. For now, here are the assembly photos.

Después de la Galería del KV-1, os muestro las fotografías del modelo montado previo a la pintura, se puede observar que hay varios complementos que no están incluidos en las fotografías del modelo ya pintado, pero como os comenté mi idea original era otra que no se ahora mismo si la finalizaré o no, de momento las imágenes del montaje.

Gallery: KV-1 Model 1942 Heavy Cast Turret, Trumpeter 1/35

After a few days of rest and before showing you new assemblies and pieces, I’d like to show you this model that I finished in 2020, five years ago now, and I don’t think I’ve posted a gallery of it yet.
I used it for some processes in my books and kept it to add a figurine, give it some final touches, and show it off as it deserves.
Without further ado, here it is…

Después de unos días de descanso y antes de mostrar nuevos montajes y piezas, os enseño esta maqueta que termine en el 2020, hace ya 5 años, y creo recordar que no he puesto una galería del modelo.
Lo usé para algunos procesos en mis libros y lo guardé ponerle una figurilla, darle algún último retoque, y mostrarlo como merece.

WIP U.S. Tank Crewman, Tamiya 1/35.

Ready to paint this beautiful figurine of the new TAMIYA（タミヤ） batches. I have improved it by adding the Polaroid goggles with the strap, detailed the ‘Winter Tankers Cloth Helmet’ with the straps of the chinstrap and I have also added some binoculars to give it more interest.
With this one I will give a workshop in my club, Almeria Modelismo, on the principles of painting figures, and make the summer more bearable.

Lista para pintar esta preciosa figurilla de las nuevas hornadas de TAMIYA（タミヤ）. La he mejorado añadiéndole a las gafas Polaroid la cinta de sujeción, detallado del «Winter Tankers Cloth Helmet» con las correillas del barboquejo y le he añadido también unos prismáticos para darle mas interés.
Con esta impartiré un Taller en mi club, Almeria Modelismo, sobre principios de pintura de figuras, y hacer el verano más llevadero.

WIP: JSU-152, Dragon 1/35.

It’s time to bring back this old Dragon mould, which is over 30 years old. I assembled it about 20 years ago, but it had an accident and several pieces broke. I kept everything in a box until now… I’ve repaired the damage and fitted it with some beautiful chains from Modelkasten.
I hope you like it. I’ll be painting it soon.
Toca recuperar este viejo molde de Dragon con más de 30 años ya en sus espaldas, la monté hara como unos 20 años, tuvo un percance por la que se rompieron varias piezas, lo guardé todo en una caja y hasta ahora… le he arreglado los desperfectos y la he calzado con unas preciosas cadenas de Modelkasten.

Finished!!: SS-Untersturmfuhrer (Winter Panzer Officer), Alpine Miniatures 1/35.

One of Alpine’s classic figures, a must-have for any enthusiast’s display case, is now complete and in its final location.
It is painted almost entirely with AK 3Gen acrylics, with accessories from Miniart and a balsa wood post.
I think it’s worth investing the time necessary in the scenery, so I recommend working on the bases as much as necessary, as the figures and the final result are noticeably better.
Personally, I had a lot of fun.

Ya está finalizada y situada en su base definitiva una de las figuras clásicas de Alpine que no debe faltar en la vitrina de cualquier aficionado.
Esta pintada practicamente en su totalidad con acrílicos de 3Gen de AK, los complementos son de Miniart, el poste de madera de balsa.
Creo que merece la pena invertir el tiempo necesario en la ambientación, por lo que recomiendo que trabajar las bases lo que sea necesario, las figuras y el resultado final es notoriamente mejor.
Personalmente me he divertido un montón.

W.I.P. Winter Panzer Officer, Alpine Miniatures 1/35. Base.

Now that the base is modelled, I am going to depict our SS-Untersturmfuhrer (Second Lieutenant) on a farm on the Eastern Front. To set the scene appropriately, I am going to use elements from the Miniart ‘Farm Cart & Village Accessories’ kit, ref. 35657, specifically the watering can, the pitchfork and the sack of potatoes. The door is also from Miniart, but I don’t remember where I got it from. The post is made from a piece of balsa wood and the plank is plasticard. The ground is modelled with A+B putty.
Now it’s time to paint and finish it off. I hope you like it.

Ya está la base modelada, voy a representar a nuestro SS-Untersturmfuhrer (Alférez) en una granja del frente del Este. Para ambientarlo adecuadamente voy a usar elementos del kit de Miniart «Farm Cart & Village Accesories» ref. 35657 en concreto la regadera, la horca y el saco de patatas. La puerta también es de Miniart pero no recuerdo de donde la saqué, el poste es de un listón de madera de balsa y el tablón de plasticard. El suelo está modelado con masilla A+B.
Ahora a pintar y rematar. Espero os guste.

W.I.P. Winter Panzer Officer, Alpine Miniatures 1/35

Os presento la figura terminada a falta de la base, que modelaré y pintaré en los próximos dias. Un gustazo pintar este figurón clásico de Alpine que desde hace mucho tiempo tenía por casa y con ganas de «meterle» los pinceles.
Está pintada prácticamente en su totalidad con acrilicos 3Gen de AK.

XXXI Concurso de Modelismo Fuengirola Un Sol de Ciudad: Charla Pintura de Figuras

Como todos los años estaré en Fuengirola en el Palacio de la Paz, una de mis citas obligada y en donde me siento como en casa, está vez tendré el honor de impartir una charla sobre Pintura de Paños en figuras usando técnicas mixtas de aerógrafo y pincel.
No os la perdáis será muy interesante, el sábado a las 17:00 h os espero.
