This one is already done, I just realised that I didn’t put the rear chains on it… 🤦‍♂️ now to finish off the terrain and the figurine I’m preparing to place it.

💡W.I.P.💡 Char B1 bis Tamiya 1/35. Highly advanced painting.
The painting of the model is going downhill, there are still the tools, retouching and reinforcing some effects and little more. The next photos will be of the finished vehicle.

Ya va quedando menos, la pintura del modelo va enfilando la cuesta abajo, quedan las herramientas, retocar y reforzar algunos efectos y poco más. Las próximas fotos serán ya del vehículo terminado.

W.I.P. Char B1 bis, base color done. Tamiya 1/35 (2)

After implementing some improvements in the assembly kindly suggested by some friends of the hobby, the base colour has been applied.
Finally I have decided for this less usual scheme and also less seen in models. The decals are from the specific sheet of Editions du Barbotin, and included in their monograph on the Char B.
Now begins the funniest part, soon I hope to post more progress. I hope you like it.

Tras implementar algunas mejoras en el montaje amablemente sugeridas por algunos amigos del hobby, ya está aplicado el color base.
Finalmente me he decidido por este esquema menos habitual y también menos visto en maqueta. Las calcas son de la hoja específica de Editions du Barbotin, e incluidas en su monográfico sobre los Char B.
Ahora comienza la parte más divertida, en breve espero poner más avances. Espero os guste.

W.I.P. Char B1 bis ready to paint. Tamiya 1/35 (1)

Ready to paint, images of a majestic tank that I’m looking forward to airbrushing and brushing.
I’ve used some of Aber’s photoetched parts, and some resin pieces from the Blast Model and Panzerart sets, I’ve ‘pecked’ here and there until I got the level of detail I like, enough, but without going me crazy.

Listo para pintar, imágenes de un carro majestuoso al que estoy deseando de hincarle aerógrafo y pinceles.
He usado parte del fotograbado de Aber, y algunas piezas de resina del set de Blast Model y de Panzerart, he «picoteado» de aquí y de allí hasta obtener el nivel de detalle que me gusta, suficiente, pero sin volverme loco.

W.I.P. Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) Ausf. E/F, Tamiya 1/35. Assembly Ready (2)

Photographs of the completely finished assembly pending only the tracks, I also include images of the final details. These pictures are much better, in the previous ones the white balance was not correct and there were still some details to be added.
I have used the following materials for detailing:
Passion Models photoetched parts.
Jerrycans early model from Asuka Models.
Machine guns from Panzerart.
Gun Barrel by Lion Marc.
As I have already mentioned, this model is the one I am using for the Military Vehicle Modelling course that I am teaching in my Club: Almeria Modelismo.

Fotografías del montaje completamente terminado a falta solo de las cadenas, os acompaño tambien imágenes de detalles finales. Estas fotografías están mucho mejor, en las anteriores no estaba correcto el balance de blancos y aún restaba por añadir algún detalle.
He usado los siguientes materiales para detallar:

Jerrycans early model de Asuka Models.
Cañón de Lion Marc.
Ametralladoras de Panzerart.

Finally I can show you what I have been working on these last weeks, it is the vignette with which I participated together with the Almeria Modelismo team in the Mundialito de Figuras organized by the Asociación de Modelismo Alabarda whose final took place last weekend in Burgos. It is an interclubs competition in which the most important thing is to participate and improve yourself. In my case it has also been to get into subjects that I don’t usually deal with and get out of my comfort zone.

Finalmente os puedo mostrar en lo que he estado trabajando en estas últimas semanas, se trata de la viñeta con la que participado junto con el equipo de Almeria Modelismo en el Mundialito de Figuras organizado por la Asociación de Modelismo Alabarda cuya final tuvo lugar el pasado fin de semana en Burgos. Es una competición interclubs en lo que lo más importante es participar y superarte. En mi caso además ha sido adentrarme en temas que habitualmente no trato y salir de mi zona de comfort.

Airbrush base colour applied with AK Real Colors and Tamiya colours, the next step is to place the license plates and paint all the details of the engine, the rubber of the wheels, handles, etc. with a brush.
Little by little completing the vignette.

W.I.P. T-34/76 1943 Production Model, Tamiya 1/35. (2)

Finished airbrush base, I used AK Real Colors applied with airbrush, I made some lighting and shading effects looking for a natural result enhancing the shapes and volume of the model. The Polish decals are from Kagero’s book ‘Topshots’ dedicated to the T-34/76, so it is ready for the demonstration talk I will give next week in Talavera de la Reina. Hope to see you there. Base aerográfica terminada, he usado los Real Colors de AK aplicados con aerógrafo, le hecho unos efectos de iluminación y sombreado buscando un resultado natural potenciando las formas y volumetría del modelo. Las calcas polacas son del libro de Kagero «Topshots» dedicado al T-34/76, de esta forma queda listo para la charla demostración que impartiré la semana próxima en Talavera de la Reina. W.I.P. T-34/76 1943 Production Model, Tamiya 1/35

My nth T-34/76 from Tamiya, I don’t even know how many I’ve had… I have prepared this one for demos, especially for the Ceramic Brush of Talavera de La Reina, that’s why I haven’t improved and updated it in depth, I have simply changed and added elements that can be interesting for painting, like the engine grill, the spare links of the turret, the gun tube is from Orange Hobby because the original one is very loose. A timeless kit with 50 years behind it, but still in good shape and still going strong.
To explain concepts and painting techniques the model built in this way is more than enough, no more is needed.

Mi enésimo T-34/76 de Tamiya, ni se los que llevo… Este lo he preparado para demos a impartir, en especial para el Ceramic Brush de Talavera de La Reina, por eso no me he metido a mejorarlo y actualizarlo en profundidad, simplemente he cambiado y añadido elementos que pueden ser interesantes para la pintura, como la rejilla del motor, los eslabones de repuesto de la torreta, el tubo del cañón es de Orange Hobby porque el original es muy flojito. Un kit eterno con 50 años en sus espaldas pero que sigue en forma y al pie del cañón.
Para explicar conceptos y técnicas de pintura el modelo así construido es más que suficiente, no hace falta más.

Interiors ready to glue and place in its final location, I have used Eduard’s basic photoetched parts for the detailing and his resin seat with the seat belts. It is painted with Tamiya for the airbrush and AK Acrylics 3Gen for the brush details, soon I will close the fuselage and prepare for the exterior painting.

Interiores listos para pegar y colocar en su emplazamiento definitivo, he utilizado el fotograbado básico de Eduard para el detallado y su asiento de resina con los cinturones de seguridad. Está pintado con Tamiya para el aerografo y Acrilicos 3Gen de AK para los detalles a pincel, en breve cierro el fuselaje y a preparar para la pintura exterior.
