💡WIP💡Yak-1, Accurate Miniatures 1/48

In 2011, I still had serious doubts about whether to devote myself to model aircraft building and, above all, whether I would be able to finish them. I had a lot of respect for model aircraft building and, at the same time, I had a lot of military vehicle projects on the go: I started many aircraft and finished very few.
Lately, I have been tidying up my workshop and “clearing things out”. When I came across the Yak-1, I remembered that I had started it, but I didn’t know how far I had got.
To my surprise, when I opened the box, I realised I had got further than I thought.
When I finish the vignette I am working on, I will give it a push. I think the model is worth it, and I also have a decoration that I really like, so I think it will be a very nice model.

En 2011 todavía tenía serias dudas sobre si dedicarme a modelar aviones y, sobre todo, si sería capaz de terminarlos. Le guardaba mucho respeto al modelismo de aviación y, a la vez, tenía un montón de proyectos de vehículos militares en marcha: empecé muchos aviones y terminé muy pocos.

Últimamente he estado ordenando mi taller y “quitando cosas del medio”. Al toparme con el Yak‑1 recordé que lo había empezado, pero no sabía hasta dónde había avanzado.

Mi sorpresa al abrir la caja es que llegué más lejos de lo que pensaba

Cuando termine la viñeta que estoy trabajando, le daré un empujón, creo que el modelo merece la pena, además tengo una decoración que me gusta mucho y creo que quedará una maqueta muy bonita.
