Minsk 1944 Summer, Operation Bagration, Dio 1/48

Hi my Friends.
I’m building now a 1/48 scale dio.
Contrary usually I do, I will to show the first steps, maybe it will be interesting for you, not only show the work finished.
For me a dio genesis is not a clear process, usually I have several models in the workbench, ready for paint and in my head, in a certain moment all pieces «take in its place» and I do the dio.
This time, I have a Su-122 in very advanced build state:

Hola a Todos,

Second I saw so many pictures SPG advanced in Minsk, summer 1944, in Operation Bragation.

(pictures only for discuss purposes)
I do many sketch in Autocad, (I’m Architect surveyor), it will be very easy do a build in the soviet ’30 style.
I need another one vehicle, first I think in a Ketten, but finally I choose a Schwimmwagen:

Previously, I like do so many test to chek the final dio layout, the Su-122 will situate a level upper the schwimm:

Schwimmwagen Type 166, Minsk; Tamiya 1/48.

Mmm… meanwhile I wait some pieces for the Su-122, I start to build this little gem kit, It will take part in a Dio, with the Soviet SPG.

The plastic parts are very simply and the build process advance quickly, I use also the Hauler PE set for detail the vehicle, the damage effects are done with the Dremel, and a file.

I hope you like it.

Best Regards All.

Mitsubishi A6M3/3a Zero (Zeke).
